With the demise of my digital back on the Hasselblad I have resorted to using film again. That’s not a bad thing per se. Especially given I now am processing everything myself: E-6, C-41 and the black and white Ilford DD-X. Tonight I went out with a roll of Ilford Delta 400 film, intent on processing this type for the first time on my own. It went rather smooth, it’s a little bit easier than the colour processes as the temperature control is not as critical. It’s great fun! Scanning and post processing (minimal, as usual, so as to remain true to the medium) takes more time than taking and processing the film!
